Tech at tamaki

“Yes”
I said to my friends while I was walking to school. Today was tech at Tamaki day I was excited cause there were 2 new groups and they were Sience and Electronic that was why I was so excited.

It was Monday our first day of Tech and the first time the year sevens went tech.
As we were walking down to Tamaki I could fill the air of excitement. We finally got there and there was no teachers there except Mrs fergurson.

My group was Electronic and the teacher was Mr Marthon. We learnt how to make a fan on with a hat because was something I had never seen before. As our time was up I was so excited to finally go back to school.

Our First Day using Our Netbooks

Our school has been really lucky because we are the first school that have our own New Netbooks. On Monday the first day of school our class was the first class to have our Netbooks we were pretty lucky. This has been a long journey but it was worth the wait. Thank you very
much to Mrs and Mr Burt,Mr Jacobsen and the helpers because this day will never have with out you guys.

Our New Netbooks

Room 20 and Room 19 at Pt England School are trying out our new Netbook. We are the first school in the Manaiakalani schools. This is a dream come true for our first year sevens at Pt England school. Both of our classes get to use them now.
I would like to say a big Thank you to, Mrs Burt, Mr Burt and everyone that helped us to make this dream actually happen.

We tried out this new application called 'Cheese' that my best friend and I took this photo in.

Fia Fia Night

Fia Fia night was wonderful it was

full of colourful school. If you d

on’t know what fia fia night is it like culture day but we did just have culture we had all kind of dances like Hip Hop, Tectonic and Glee. During the days we had to practice was really not fun because we had to do one move over and over again but it was worth it because on the night of it was fantastic

It was going to begin 5 more min and it was going to start and I was in Kapa Haka so we were first group to perform I was like freaking out but I just got over myself and show myself that I can perform in front of people that I don’t know. After we perform we had to get change. While I was sitting and waiting for my next group and that was tectonic I was thinking that I might wake a mistake or something. Then the Samoa group was nearly finish and my checks were were turning red l felt like I was going to to explode. As the Samoa group came off our group had to get ready to go on, then I heard my friend said go Tamara that when I could do this and perform it just like kapa haka but there are more movement in Tectonic then kapa Haka.

It was nearly finish and I was tired and hungry, I’ll kapa haka group was the last group to perform and it was’nt so long we only done

a haka so that was’nt so long. After the Fia Fia night my family and I went to Mac’s. While we were going there I was still thinking about Fia Fia night that was like the Best Night!!!!!!!!!

Smoking make a better choice

In the Life Education caravan we learn a lot of different

things about your body and how some things can effect your body like smoking and drinking.

Smoking can give you cancer and will effect your body and your life. These are some ingredients in it like cleaning product, nicotine and rocket fuel. Lynn our teacher said"that 4000 chemicals inside a smoke and 200 chemicals can cause cancer. So when we finish we thought that we would make a movie so we can show all kids and adult that it is not OK!! to smoke. So enjoy our fantastic movie. Made by Racheal, Bobbi-grace, kezia and me.
